Gorkem Acaroglu is a theatre maker, most passionate about work that tests the borders of traditional form and content. She is Creative Director of The 24 Hour Experience – a living documentary through the hidden perspectives of place, which premiered in Melbourne. Gorkem has had an ongoing interest in the capacity of digital technologies to perform alongside live actors and explored this through an Australia Council Artlab initiative working with robotics and motion capture technologies. In 2012 Gorkem travelled to Mongolia through Asialink and worked with local theatre makers to develop a documentary -style Mongolian perspective of Hamlet. Gorkem was an inaugural Sidney Myer Creative Fellow and recently completed her PhD at Deakin University examining the capacity for technological actors to perform competently with human actors on stage.
Shane is an accomplished lighting designer having worked extensively with companies like Ranters Theatre, The Torch Project, NYID and many others. With a BA Dramatic Arts (Production) Victorian College of the Arts (VCA), Shane was previously Production Manager with Strange Fruit, and Technical Manager at Gasworks Theatre. He is currently the Audio Visual Technician for St Kevin’s College, a position that he has held for eight years.
A graduate of the Victorian College of the Arts (VCA), Greg has worked as an actor and a director with a range of Australian theatre companies including Not Yet It’s Difficult (NYID), Melbourne Theatre Company (MTC), Malthouse, Sydney Theatre Company (STC), LaMama, and has appeared in an array of Australian TV shows.
He has also worked for over ten years as an interpreter and actor with Russian theatre director, Professor Leonid Verzub (a student and co-worker of Maria Knebl). When he’s not working on shows, Greg can be seen teaching and running actors’ workshops.

Lara Thoms is an inter-disciplinary artist. She has made projects at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Performance Space and the Malthouse. She also works with collectives Aphids, Field Theory and was previously a producer for Next Wave festival.
